“I wonder where people get content to write on LinkedIn…”
Commented a friend during one of our usual chats about showing up, personal branding and creating online.
Funny enough, that question right there became the content.
So let me answer it here for anyone else who’s wondering the same.
Where can you get content ideas for LinkedIn?
📌 Your personal & professional projects
There are lessons you pick up every day even in the most “normal” weeks. You might think it’s nothing special, but trust me, someone else might find it eye-opening or relatable.
📌 Your expertise
You’ve probably been doing what you do long enough to know what works, what doesn’t and how someone starting out could do better. That’s content.
📌 Your skills
Maybe you’re not an “expert” (yet), but you know how to do certain things well. For me, that’s event hosting. I don’t host events daily, but I love talking about how I prep, how I structure programs and what I’ve learned along the way. That’s still valuable content.
📌Your everyday conversations
A client comment. A team brainstorm. A random convo with a friend.
So many ideas are hidden in the things we say and hear daily. Just like this post came from a conversation!
📌Repurposing content
You don’t always need something “new.” Revisit an old post, expand on a point you made in a comment or turn one idea into a series.
Content is around you. If you’re intentional, you’ll spot it.
If you’ve been thinking, “I don’t know what to post,” let’s change that. Book a clarity call today!
