A glimpse of lessons drawn from the book launch event

This weekend I was living in answered prayers
I always do, but this shouted a bit louder.
The room? Elegant. Powerful. Purposeful.
Every woman walked in looking stunning, sharp and confident, like they knew they were exactly where they needed to be.
I could turn to the right and I’m like wow! I love that outfit, then right in front of me, look at that? Then behind me oh wow!
My first thought?
“When I grow up… I want to look, feel and carry myself like this.”
(I know I’m grown, but hey we’re constantly evolving, right? 😅)
What stood out?
1️⃣ The event ran with precision. It was timely, organized and intentional. Shout out to the team at ZionPearl Publishers 👏🏾
2️⃣ The conversations were deep and necessary on doubt, dreams and doing the work.
3️⃣ The vulnerability? Unmatched. The ladies shared real stories of struggle and success and that built a genuine connection in the room.
Being in a room with so many remarkable women, holding honest, real, uplifting stories was such an honour.
Just where I wanna be.
Their courage to speak truth into areas we usually whisper about like self-doubt, comparison, not feeling enough reminded me of how many dreams have been delayed not because they’re impossible, but because of the voices that try to silence them.
And as Eunice Ireri PMP®, PRINCE2® so brilliantly put it:
“Sometimes we give the council of elders in our heads too much power.”
Whew. That one hit home. right? 😅)
So here’s your reminder (and mine):
📌 Don’t let impostor thoughts rob you of your purpose.
📌 You don’t have to wait until you’re 100% ready. (Spoiler, you’ll never be)
📌 You are already becoming. Keep going.
This event stirred something in me and I can’t wait to dive into the book. I know it’ll be full of gold.
